Shipping and Customs Policy for Peer-to-Peer Transactions
  1. Individual Seller Shipping Responsibility
    Old World Europe Antiques LTD operates strictly as a platform facilitator. All items are listed, packaged, and shipped individually by independent private sellers from their respective locations. The private seller bears sole and absolute responsibility for secure, break-resistant, and professional packaging suitable for high-value antiques and porcelain.
  2. Carriers and Premium Tracking
    To ensure maximum security for luxury items, all shipments must be dispatched via reputable international couriers (such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, or specialized secure art couriers). Every shipment must include premium transit insurance covering the full value of the antique and a valid tracking number provided to the buyer through the platform.
  3. Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and Fees
    For international and cross-border transactions, the buyer is considered the sole importer of record. The buyer is entirely and exclusively responsible for paying all local customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees, and any handling charges imposed by the destination country's customs authorities. Old World Europe Antiques LTD and the private sellers assume no liability for items delayed, held, or confiscated by customs due to the buyer's failure to pay local import taxes.
