This elegant pitcher combines a faceted, clear glass body with a beautifully detailed silver-plated spout and handle. The ornate handle features a decorative relief of a mythical creature, possibly a serpent or dragon, wrapping around the body of the pitcher. The silver-plated base and collar add to its sophisticated, antique style. This piece would be perfect for serving water, wine, or as a purely decorative vase or centerpiece.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with no chips or cracks in the glass. The silver-plated portions show signs of tarnish and patina, which is common for vintage items and adds to its character.
Measurements:
Height: 31 cm (12.2 inches)
Width (at widest point): 14 cm (5.5 inches)
Weight: 725g
Age & Origin: This piece likely dates to the early to mid-20th century, drawing inspiration from ornate Victorian and Art Nouveau designs. Its style suggests a European origin, though it's difficult to say for certain without a maker's mark.

All of the items in this shop are antique or vintage, meaning they are pre-owned and decades or centuries old. They will naturally show signs of age and wear (patina, minor surface scratches, tiny fleabites, etc.).
